It’s been a month since my last entry, so I thought I’d write about several things I’ve been up to lately:
-My work had a team offsite, so I signed 14 of us up for a 2 hour trapeze class. I can’t even describe what an exhilarating experience that was! From jumping off the platform, to hanging upside down, to having someone catch me, and to doing a somersault off the swing! Oddly enough, I was more scared on the platform right before I jumped than the time I jumped off the plane for the skydiving! It was so much fun, I might look into taking weekly trapeze classes!
-Which leads me to my next topic… Facebook! My coworker held my trapeze video hostage on FB so that the only way I can access it is if I created an account. And I’m really glad I finally caved since it’s been so great connecting with all my faraway cousins and long lost childhood friends. I’m amazed how much time is wasted away when you’re there!
-Will you be my Valentine? This is something I’ve always seen on a vday card, but have never ever heard of anyone ask aloud. I asked bunny this and he just rolled his eyes and mumbled yes. Regardless, I loved loved the pretty tulips, the velvet box of chocolates, and our traditional champagne, cheese, and crackers night at the hotel. I have to admit that as a 28 year old lady, this was the first time ever I received chocolates and had flowers delivered to me. Bunny, thank you so much! My faced turned bright red when the delivery guy brought it over to my desk! =p
-Totally off topic and a bit of a downer now. I received my credit card statement yesterday and found all these charges that were not mine! Plus, my credit card was still in my wallet! So I called the credit card company to report this and they were extremely sympathetic. They removed all charges and I was recommended to file a police report. I showed up at the police station and the first thing the officer asks was, “Miss, how did you know right away that those charges aren’t yours?” Me: “Umm, officer, I don’t and never have shopped at Ross…” =p Long story short, I’ve got everything squared away and have taken preventative measures from this going any further. If you ever experience this, give me a call! I did a lot of research and am more than happy to help.
Phew, thanks for your bunny ears!
