It’s staycation time! We headed down to Carmel for what might be our last staycation before the baby arrives.
The Hyatt Carmel Highlands was located right off the coast of Carmel and the hotel was super awesome! It was so nice to just kick back in the lounge area and enjoy our calamari & sliders while overlooking the sunset ocean view!
Our 2-level townhouse room was super comfy, and also came with a kitchen, in-room jacuzzi, and wood-burning fireplace! We didn’t use the fireplace during our stay, but we could see the smoke coming out of the chimneys from all the other guest rooms around us.
We also took a day trip out to the Monterey Bay Aquarium (one of our favs, and early date spot before we were married).
We absolutely love this place, and thought it would be the perfect setting for our little baby bump photo shoot! Bel was right around ~24 weeks when we took these shots. It ended up taking a while to capture the perfect images without any people walking by, but we managed to get the shots we wanted!
