Hello Lisa and Akemi!

We had a few more visitors from LA this past weekend! My cousin Lisa stopped by with her whiz-kid daughter Akemi, who was just starting her first year at UC Berkeley this week.

We all had dinner at PPQ Dungeness Island and had their famous roasted crab and garlic noodles. Yum! I was kinda surprised to find out that it was Akemi’s first time eating crab out of a shell! I have a feeling she’ll be eating it more now that she is a bay area resident!

I’m so proud of my cousin Lisa for raising such a smart and sweet daughter. It must be an awesome (but bittersweet) moment when you send your first child off to college.

I guess it’ll be only a matter of time before we send Daren off to college in about ~18 years!! 🙂
