We definitely didn’t imagine spending Jordan’s 4th birthday being quarantined at home all day, but we made the best of it!

I went out earlier in the morning to pick up Jordan’s birthday cake from Noe Valley bakery. (His favorite strawberry cake!) He was really excited for dessert and to cut the cake! 🙂

The day started off with some bubble blowing fun… and also some good old running around and silliness in the garage.

Which then turned into some sidewalk chalk drawing displays! Bel bought a big box of colored chalk from Amazon that just arrived the day before so we thought it was a perfect time to try it out.

Jordan chose to draw his usual fire trucks, while Daren drew a few different things including “Piku Niku”, a video game character that he likes to watch on tv the moment.

After a delicious hot pot dinner, we all gathered around the table to sing happy birthday to our new 4 year old!

We actually forgot to invite Micah, Meila, and the grandparents through facetime the first time, but we were able to all sing together afterwards.

Jordan was so excited to turn 4 that he insisted we measure his height on the wall. He grew about ~2 inches since his last birthday! Great job Jordan!
