Monday 3/23
Week 2 begins!
Our schedules have been working out pretty well so far and the kids are excited every day to check things off their list.
In addition to their regular homework, there was plenty of drawing time, ipad movie time, play time, and face time with the grandparents!
Tuesday 3/24
Both Daren and Jordan are both starting to get a hang of the school lessons on zoom!
Jordan has been taking an interest in helping with making breakfast.
Today, he helped make scrambled eggs by cracking the egg and mixing it all by himself!
Wednesday 3/25
Every morning, before we start our school work, we start the day off with the pledge of allegiance. Daren has been leading the pledge with Jordan following along. (usually)
After some school work, we took a break and took a walk outside.
We started off with a brisk walk to Glen Canyon, then made our way up the block to walk outside of Micah and Miela’s house! They were happy to see us and greeted us from the window.
Also, Bel is starting a new growth from the stem of a green onion we just used.
We’ll see how it does!
Thursday 3/26
The kids have really settled in with their zoom meetings.
Daren has been getting more comfortable in front of the camera…
Jordan seems like a natural in front of the camera. If anything, he tends to blurt things out loud!
We’ll work on raising our hand and waiting patiently for our turn to speak.
Friday 3/27
More zoom lessons!
The kids really love making pizza for dinner!
We’ve tried lots of different fresh doughs from different stores, but the one we like the best so far is the fresh dough from Whole Foods.
It consistently turns out great!
Here are the kids carefully topping their own pizzas. For tonight’s pizza we had ham, salami, spinach, and mushrooms! Although sometimes they always don’t make it to the pizza because they like to sample them first!
Saturday 3/28
Another day, another refusal to nap…

Sunday 3/29
Nothing much to report today…
We all stayed in the house the whole day. Despite the fact we really haven’t left the house this week, the kids have been taking it well. They always seem to find something to play with, lol.
