For dinner tonight, Bel picked up the make-at-home pizza kit from Pizzeria Delfina!
Ever since the shelter-in-place order, we’ve been primarily cooking at home. However, we’ve all been missing the pizza at Delfina, so we were really excited to try this out.
The $24.99 kit includes: 3 fresh dough balls, pint of pizza sauce, fior di latte mozzarella, shredded mozzarella, fresh basil, and preparation instructions included.
Right away, you can tell that the dough was super fresh. The texture was soft and pillowy, and very very light. It’s hard to explain, but it didn’t feel dense at all like the supermarket dough we’re used to.
Bel and I made our pizzas with the heavenly dough. It stretched out really easily!
Then we placed our toppings on! The kit came with everything you need to start.
We added some extra mushrooms, broccoli, and pepperoni.
Ready! Now it’s off to the 500 degree oven for 10 mins!
Wow! The pizzas turned out absolutely amazing!
I was really surprised how good it really was.
It turned out tasting almost exactly like the restaurant, and it was a hit with the kids!
3 excellent pizzas for ~$25, what a fantastic deal!
We’ll definitely have to get this again, along with some of the other make at home kits that they offer!
