With the covid outbreak, I’ve been thinking a lot about how the current situation affects all of us mentally and physically.

For us, we are trying our best at home during this environment. It’s not easy balancing a work from home life, especially when there are constant interruptions throughout the day. There are days when I feel frustrated and unproductive, and sometimes that gets taken out on the wrong people.

So I’m going to start making small changes here and there, starting with bedtime.

No matter what happens during the day, I’m going to make an effort to treat the kid’s bed time like a separate universe where nothing even remotely bad or negative exists. Tons of silly stories (Jordan’s favorite is the the bear’s surprise birthday story), tuck ins, hugs, snuggles, kisses, and I love yous.

Hopefully, this reset at the end of each day will help me (and everyone else) start the morning fresh, and lead to a healthy positive attitude and awareness!
