Congrats to Bel for starting her first day at Apple! She had a good run at Gap (~12+ years!), and will now start a new chapter in her career.
The entire interview process leading up to this point was very time-consuming and mentally draining, which also included talking to a few other companies (Marqeta, Splunk) at the same time! In the end, she felt a strong connection with the team at Apple, and ultimately felt it was the right decision. Also, because of the ongoing covid environment, Apple has fortunately allowed all of their employees to work from home for the time being. So she’ll start her new job working full-time remotely at home! Nice! More time to spend at home together!
Everyone (Jordan especially!) was excited to see what work-from-home office products they would send to get set up for her first day! She ended up receiving a new Macbook Air laptop, a mouse, a new iPhone, and a LG(??!) monitor, along with some various Apple branded onboarding goodies.
Here’s to the start of a great adventure! Time to invest in more $AAPL stock!
