Boarding @Northstar

The only consolation to having frigid wind and rain in SF is knowing that the snow in Tahoe is piling up.

The last cold front we experienced just extended the snow season to the longest I’ve seen in a while. The sun finally managed to show it’s face for a few days and that was all we needed to plan a last minute Thursday day-trip out to Northstar! The sun was out in full force, and all we needed were our t-shirts and  extra sunscreen… oh, and some 3 wise men shots at the bar for good measure. 🙂

Also, the buy one get one free vouchers at Shell came in super handy as we were shocked to find out that a regular day ticket is $90! Ouch!
