Today we officially signed the documents to establish the Hui-Nakabayashi family trust! Making sure that our assets are passed down to our kids was very important to us, so today we set up a trust in our family name.
We used a company that was referred to us through Bel’s work. The entire process went fairly smoothly using online services for most of the set up, and we were only required to go in-person to the lawyer’s office to sign the final documents once everything was finalized. When we did go in to the actual office to sign the paperwork, we talked to the processor via zoom who walked us through the signing process while he sat in a room next door. Overall, they had a pretty good social distance protocol in place!
The best part was that Bel got a great discount for the whole service through her work so it was very affordable! And yes, her mask is on upside-down on purpose in the photo because it fits her face better according to her, haha!
