Oshogatsu 2021!

Happy New Year!

Unfortunately due to covid, we weren’t able to celebrate our annual New Year’s day get-together with my dad, brother, and uncle Ken this year.

For this year, we still prepared the traditional Oshogatsu Japanese feast thanks to an ozoni recipe I found online, and a pre-made oshogatsu bento box from Nijiya market. We also face-timed John and my dad during lunch. Although not the same without the other family members, we still managed to have a great celebration at home this year!

Hopefully things will be back to normal next year!
