Between trying old school techniques to open a tightly sealed pasta sauce and sorting a thousand pounds of carrots at the SF Food Bank, I somehow managed to strain my back. It’s been over 2 weeks and I still woke up with some aching today… ahhh, as I am approaching my great 2-8, I will need to take better care of myself. Here is a rough draft of my 2009 new year’s resolution (in no particular order):
-Exercise (this has been on my list since 2003 and still no progress – next year will be different!)
-Maintain work/life balance (in March, bunny and I will be taking a full 2 wk vacation to HK and Malaysia – eating, shopping, and scuba diving, here we come!)
-Pick up a new hobby (in 2008, I started knitting, rockclimbing, cooking, and blogging – obviously, some were more successful than others; for 2009 – photography, interior decorating, or ballroom dancing, anyone?)
-Volunteer more (I <3 SF Food Bank. Sorting carrots was the perfect job for a bunny.)

Anyway, keep your bunny ears open because we have a very busy month ahead of us! Besides going to our first hockey game ever this past weekend, we’re looking forward to another BFF potluck, Micah’s first birthday, a housewarming potluck, my birthday, my dad’s birthday, christmas, and the infamous NYE! We’ll be sure to post all the details and pictures for your enjoyment. =)

can’t believe i’m reading this and actually commenting on it. but yes I want to volunteer more and the sf food bank is a great place to volunteer at. always thought about getting into photography but didnt. ballroom dancing…actually could work for me if it gets me bonus points with the ladies. you’ve inspired me to think of a hobby for 2009, since i have none in the first place.
