It’s bunny’s 28th b-day and we decided to splurge a little and get tickets to watch the timeless Nutcracker ballet.

I usually perceive the Opera as being both a little bit charming yet a little bit pretentious… but sometimes it’s just fun to get dressed up and go out for a night out on the town! I mean, what better way to celebrate than to check out male dancers prancing around in tights that leave nothing to the imagination right? Well, despite the gratuitous ballzak appearances and the freezing winter weather, we both managed to enjoy the entire evening.

After the show we both realized just how starved we really were since we didn’t have time for dinner beforehand. Lucky for us that Flippers was still open a few blocks away so we ended up scarfing down a burger and some spaghetti there.

We left the evening with a full belly and a souvenir nutcracker xmas ornament to cherish throughout the years 🙂
