It’s Daren’s first vacation!
We spent 9 days in Waikiki at the Moana Surfrider, one of our favorite hotels!
Not knowing how Daren might react for first plane ride, we brought a ton of toys to keep him occupied. We also made some care packages with candy and earplugs to hand out to the passengers sitting around us just in case he got a little out of control.
Amazingly, he was super calm and excited throughout the entire ride! Rather than playing with any of the toys we brought, he was happy enough playing with a simple water bottle! He also enjoyed playing with the in-flight touch screen menu system and even waved hello to the other passengers!
We had plenty to celebrate on this trip – It’s was Becky’s birthday, and also Bel’s parent’s 40th anniversary! Overall, the trip was a success and everyone had a great time, especially Daren! We can’t wait to come back again!
