After all the planning and preparation, Val and Kev’s big watermelon pink day has finally arrived!

I am truly honored to have been a part of their wedding party and to celebrate this special day with them. Val, Tina, Nat, and I have been friends since we were 6 years old and my favorite part of the wedding was just being able to spend the whole day together. Even though we don’t get to see each other or hang out often, it just feels right when we do – like a comfy pair of wornout sneakers. =p

Here’s a list of some memorable moments from that day:

-eating bagels and tater tots with Tina at 6am

-watching Val transform to a beautiful, blushing, nervous, excited, and exhausted bride

-battling with other wedding couples and Quinceaneras for photo ops at the Palace and Legion

-having Val touch my butt during the Guess the Groom game

-watching Kevin transform to a dashing, humble, vibrant, and tipsy groom

-slow dancing with bunny on the side, to the last dance – in my flip flops

It was great seeing everyone and I wish we had more time to chat! A shout out to Mikayla for being the world’s best flower girl, to Jen for traveling 6000 miles and going straight to the wedding, to Val and Kev for throwing a huge party, and to bunny for always taking such good care of me.
