I have been in a reflective state for the past couple of months. That means, a lot less doing and talking and a lot more thinking. Last week, as I was sifting through books of wisdom in the wee hours of the night, I came across an enlightening quote:
“True love is not measured in hugs and kisses, but in struggles and fears, and those who can work through those…they possess true love”. Adam Murphy
I forwarded this quote to buns and the next morning he responded with:
“You know you’re in love when you can’t fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.”Dr. Seuss
Ha! What a smart, yet delightful response from bunny! And it was such a coincidence that this past weekend at Esther and Abe’s wedding, this very same quote was read in the ceremony! My introspective mood is finally winding down and I have gained valuable insight and realizations. If you don’t already do so, I encourage you to take time to ponder – about your work, attitude, awareness, etc. I am proud to say that I am now an eco-expert at my work! I found inspiration in the process of finding ways to be green. Another piece of Dr. Seuss’ work which is constant encouragement is “Oh, The Places You’ll Go.” I reread this book ALL the time and my favorite quote from there is “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose.”
This concludes my post and here are some pictures from this past month. Enjoy!
