During the weekdays, I take care of the kiddos for a couple hours in the morning while Bel sleeps in.
Jordan usually wakes up first, anywhere between ~6-7am. Daren follows shortly after.
Once up, I’ll make Daren his breakfast which varies from: cereal with fresh fruit (blueberries are his favorite at the moment), scrambled eggs, waffles, yogurt, or Trader Joe’s hash browns. After breakfast, we’ll have a little bit of free time before Bel leaves for work and her mom comes over to help for the day.
It’s these routine moments spending quality time each morning that I absolutely love. Seeing Daren and Jordan interact with each other at this age is so sweet and caring.

Right around the 4:55 min mark, I remember thinking to myself at that moment, “this is how I always want to remember my boys” as I kissed them both on their heads.
