This is the second to last weekend I will spend in LA before bunny comes home!
Sigh – it is currently a bittersweet time for us. As excited as I am to have buns move back to SF, I can’t help but think of how much I will miss LA. Afterall, this is the city that played a huge role in our lives – this is where we sparked our romance, developed our relationship, and always had a grand time trying new things together. This weekend was no exception.
We had a wonderful picnic on the beach treating ourselves to our favorite California Chicken Cafe salad, salami and flatbread, and fresh figs – oh and I also convinced bunny to get me a side order of mashed potatoes. =)
This was also definitely a food-filled weekend. For dinner, we tried our hands on homemade spaghetti and meatballs. I am a huge fan of meatballs and it always seems so intimidating to make them from scratch, but bunny has a way of making the hardest tasks seem do-able. The end result blew my mind! Not to toot our own horn, but I seriously think those were one of the best meatballs I have eaten! haha, no joke!
