Our first home-delivered organic fresh fruit and produce box arrived at our doorstep today!

With the shelter-in-place notice, I’m sure there has been a surge of new customers to food delivery box companies in the past week.

We received a few emails prior to this delivery that some items in our box have been substituted (yellow onions were out of stock) , and that our original delivery date might be pushed a few days due to a sudden rush of customers.

Fortunately, our first box was delivered to our doorstop on the actual date!

Since this our first time using this company, we decided to go rather conservative with their smallest size box of mixed fruits and vegetables.

The price was ~$30 per delivery, and we decided on subscribing to the service to get a new box every 3 weeks.

To be honest, although its a little expensive, all of the the produce looks pretty good so we’re happy for now!

Here’s what was delivered in our first box:

  • 1 head Romaine lettuce
  • 1 bunch Nantes Carrots
  • 2 Fuji Apples
  • 2 Mimeolas
  • 1lb Orange Sweet Potatoes
  • 2 Red D’Anjou Pears
  • 2 Green D’Anjou Pears

Can’t wait for the next box to arrive!
