We went for a little adventure in Golden Gate Park today!

We started the day off at the San Francisco Botanical garden! Although Bel and I had been here before, his was our first visit here with the kids!

The garden is great because there are lots of landscaped gardens, bridges, and open spaces to explore. There’s also lots of different plants to see from around the world.

Jordan brought his scooter along for the adventure!

Next up we headed to the Japanese tea garden next door!

The tea garden also has lots of different pathways to explore, and the scenery is beautiful! It truly seems like we are in Japan for a moment!

Daren enjoyed climbing the steep bridge!

After a lot of walking (and running), we took a quick break at the snack area.

Rice crackers and ice cream treats hit the spot!

After a quick recharge, we headed to the DeYoung museum!

Bel and I took our wedding photos here so we are pretty familiar with the location. There’s a secret garden in the back of the museum that we would have never known about by walking underneath a tunnel. It’s a really cool place to take photos!

The front of the building is also very cool!

The distinct texture on the copper walls of the exterior give off a great texture to the background.

What a fun (and tiring) day of exploring the park!

We’ll definitely be back here for more adventures!
