When the weekend comes, we try our best to find places for the kids to play that are safe and away from other people.
One of our favorite things to do right now is to take the kids bike riding at a secluded parking lot in San Bruno. The parking lot is part of a closed office park area and offers: flat paved roads, a landscaped round-about, and plenty of open space without anyone else around! Sounds great!
We also starting inviting the grandparents and Hansen and Becky’s family to join us as well (With masks of course!). We love seeing the kids have so much fun together, especially since everyone is stuck at home all-day during the week!
The Oval at Stanford University is also a great location for bike riding that we have been frequenting lately! Although it takes about ~30 min to drive here, we don’t mind because the kids love the location and the warm weather in Palo Alto! Although there is some people out and about, overall the entire Stanford campus is well spaced out and offers lots of different pathways and open spaces to explore. Perfect for bikes and picnics!
